About DMA

We're an FSCA-regulated Financial Services Provider (FSP 40983) and Over-the-Counter Derivatives Provider (ODP45), headquartered in South Africa.

We build technology platforms for institutional, professional, and retail investors across multiple jurisdictions.

We started as a local white label broker. Today, we're a globally regulated financial services and fintech group. Our proprietary solutions, regional reach, and regulatory expertise put us at the forefront of digital platforms and infrastructure for financial services.

Our timeline

On 01 June 2018, Saxo Capital Markets South Africa (PTY) Ltd, changed its name to SCM DMA (PTY) Ltd. Due to a change of shareholding and regulatory requirements in the South African financial industry. Saxo Bank and DMA continue their long-standing relationship in providing services to global financial intermediaries and remaining Saxo’s partner in Sub-Saharan Africa and Mauritius.
The key to our success is combining Saxo Bank’s superior execution, custody, and settlement technology backbone with DMA’s internal technology stack and deep knowledge of what our partners require from a platform provider.
We believe that we have a responsibility to improve savings culture and make investing more accessible to more people. We do this by providing cost-efficient access to global products on platforms that put people first, technology second.
