How Unity works day to day: adviser onboarding, opening client accounts, identity checks, and how documents get delivered once you're up and running.
Unity is DMA's online portal. It gives you a real-time view of your account — valuations, transactions, statements and reporting — from a single secure login. If you are being looked after by an adviser, they can see the same view you do.
Opening an account is led through the Unity portal. Identity and anti-money-laundering checks are handled digitally by DMA VeriCore, which uses Sumsub and Equifax, and your documents are captured in the portal. Where the rules allow, signatures are handled in the portal too.
Through Unity, your secure online portal. If you are being onboarded through an adviser, they will have step-by-step instructions to help you log in. If you are being onboarded directly, you receive your access details when your account is opened.
Contributions are managed through Unity, and can be made as one-off payments or on a regular basis.
Through the Unity document vault. Regulatory documents — contract notes, valuations, key information documents, risk warnings and illustration packs — are delivered in Unity, with email notifications. Two-factor authentication is standard across all client-facing screens.
