How Unity works day to day: adviser onboarding, opening client accounts, identity checks, and how documents get delivered once you're up and running.
Unity is DMA's adviser and client portal. It gives a real-time view of the book — valuations, transactions, reporting and onboarding workflows — from a single login. Clients access their own view through the same system, and advisers can see the client-view at any time.
Sign DMA's Terms and Conditions, complete mutual due diligence (instrument permissions, retail classification, Consumer Duty collateral), then configure your firm's settings in Unity. Your relationship manager walks you through the process.
Account opening is led through the Unity portal. Identity and anti-money-laundering checks (KYC/AML) are handled by DMA VeriCore, which uses Sumsub and Equifax. Identity verification and document capture happen digitally; signatures are handled in-portal where permitted.
Through the Unity document vault. Regulatory documents (contract notes, valuations, KIIDs, risk warnings, illustration packs) are delivered via Unity with email notifications. Two-factor authentication is standard on all client-facing interactions.
