Fees and charges for advisers

DMA charges a tiered annual platform fee on the assets you hold on the DMA platform. The marginal rate steps down as assets grow, so larger portfolios attract a lower rate. Strategic partner rates are available for firms above agreed AUA thresholds. Your relationship manager will provide the current tariff sheet on request.

Transaction charges vary by asset class and execution venue. Mutual funds accessed via Saxo/Allfunds carry no transaction charge. Equity, ETF and bond trades are charged at a flat percentage with a per-trade minimum. One-off service charges apply for events such as in-specie transfers out, account closure, FX conversion and cost price amendments. The full tariff is available from your relationship manager.

The platform fee is structured with the intention of qualifying for VAT exemption as a financial service. Fixed fees for event-driven administration services are subject to VAT and will be itemised when they arise.

Your fee is configured in the fee engine, either as a percentage of assets (ad valorem) or as a fixed £ amount, with grouping and tiering as required. DMA calculates, collects and distributes it. The all-in client cost flows automatically into the MiFID II costs and charges disclosure.

The basis and rate applied to client cash balances are disclosed in the statutory client terms, in line with Consumer Duty requirements. DMA does not retain undisclosed margin on client cash. Your relationship manager can point you to the relevant section of the client terms.
